The Islamic World Education, Scientific, and Cultural Organization (ICESCO) is a specialized institution that operates under the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC). It focuses on promoting the fields of education, science, culture, and communication in Islamic countries.
Their initiative, A-Hub is a global accelerator that aims to support 150+ technologically innovative companies in member states by the end of 2025. For the Pakistan chapter, ICESCO, in partnership with New Space Innovation has appointed Katalyst Labs as the National Lead. Katalyst Labs will conduct a customized acceleration program as per the guidelines provided by ICESCO.

This 6-week program will work with founders, aiming to help them kick-start their entrepreneurship journey, achieve growth, and scale. It will start with a 2-day boot camp around the basics of starting a business, followed by more advanced sessions around operations and scaling up. Furthermore, the program will consist of one-on-one mentorship, module-based sessions, as well as access to the Katalyst Team. Finally, it will culminate in a National PitchFest, involving relevant stakeholders in the ecosystem as well as representatives of ICESCO.

The top 3 selected startups from the ‘National PitchFest’ will then be invited to compete in the Global Finals where the winner will be awarded prize money.
