Katalyst Labs, ICESCO, and NewSpace Open Innovation are coming together to support the development of the creative tech and cultural sector in the member states through a series of acceleration programs. Given the region’s extraordinary cultural and creative talent, alongside the emergent startup ecosystem, the program aims to ignite 150+ new creative growth companies by the end of 2025.
With the mission to unlock and scale the creative tech and cultural potential in Pakistan and build a network of creative and tech scale-ups, the program targets 6 industry verticals: Agriculture, Digital Media, Entertainment & Games, Tourism, Foodtech, and Spacetech.
Katalyst Labs will serve as a partner and local expert resource for the A-Hub program in Pakistan, supporting with the planning and execution, engagement and outreach, and a communication campaign by attracting top-quality applicants to participate.
Program Structure
Step 1: Boot Camps
Our local Jury panel sifts through the proposals entered through the competition website and chooses the best ones to join the National Competitions.
Each National Competition kicks off with a 2-day Boot Camp on 6th July 2022 where our business coaches will work with teams, delving into the specifics of jumpstarting your business.
Step 2: Intensive Coaching Sessions and National Pitch Fest – Starting 12th July 2022
The Boot Camp is followed by six intensive coaching sessions. Teams will perfect their pitches, value their proposition and business model, and pitch to their National Jury.
The Top-3 of each country will enter the next stage in the competition!
Step 3: Grand Final
At the Grand Final, the finalists from each country will pitch their idea to leading investors and entrepreneurs, competing for the prize pool. They will receive valuable feedback and get a chance to discuss their idea in more detail during networking sessions
